Sounders kit reveal on February 27th, League-wide "Jersey Week" the 25th to 28th

On February 27th, at the Cinerama, the Seattle Sounders FC's new primary and secondary kits will be revealed during a private event. The league press release which revealed the date has no other Seattle specific information, but a team spokesperson said to Sounder at Heart last week that the new jerseys would be available in the team stores shortly after the formal unveiling. Supposed leaks of many team's shirts, including the Sounders, have already started to surface.

Major League Soccer is making a large production of this year's kit reveals. They are working with national and local artists to create art themed around the new jerseys. They will also push #TrueColors (shining through?) across social media. There is a bit of indicator about the new uniforms in the release.

“Soccer supporters are extremely passionate about everything involving their club,” said Maribeth Towers, senior vice president of consumer products for MLS, in the release. “But the jersey might be first and foremost. It is the crest that is closest to their heart. Jersey Week will celebrate the soccer jersey. Every stitch, every minor detail, every shade is designed in collaboration between the club and our partner at adidas. We’re excited to unveil Jersey Week for our supporters.”

More local and team specific details to break out of the doldrums of templates should be good.

Starting in 2014 every team will get at least one new uniform a year. This year only sees 12 of the 19 clubs getting a new kit. Below is a list of the reveal events;
