So how are you guys making it through the international absences?
I didn't have it as bad as most people. I took a minus-4 with three transfers -- bringing in Colorado's Deshorn Brown ($5.7), SKC's Uri ($6.7) and FC Dallas' David Ferreira ($9.1). I'll be playing an awkward 4-3-3 with no room for injuries, but at least I'll field an XI. I also dropped a couple guys that I will probably grab again later in the season: Sebastien Le Toux and Diego Valeri
I feel confident with these moves, especially Brown--he's been great for Colorado in the action I've seen. He's accounted for a goal and an assist while averaging over 80 minutes a game. The Rapids haven't been completely hopeless and there's really no one challenging the rookie Deshorn for his starting spot, which will make him a completely serviceable third forward. I wanted to avoid using up a transfer on a rent-a-player, because I still gotta go in and get DeAndre 'Yedi' Yedlin ($4.6) next week.

We have a tie for first place! Newbies Christy Guenther (EyePrime FC) and Richard Matthew (DamagedGoods) have a total of 218 points -- good for 16th overall in Fantasy Manager.
The Sounder at Heart league is the sixth-best league in the game, incidentally. I think we can get up into the top 5. C'mon guys. There's no way we should be below the Reddit league.
