There are few easy games in MLS. There are tougher ones, even at home. Tonight's match between FC Dallas and Seattle Sounders FC is one of those tough home games. FCD is about as good as can be so far. Seattle's recent run of form puts them all the way up to average on the year. Hope is out there though. This could be one of the healthiest days of the year for the Sounders. That would allow Sigi Schmid to see a near Ideal XI at some point.

There will be some challenges. Their left flank against Seattle's right side will be a key contest on any level. There are two speedy youngsters that will face off there in Yedlin and Castillo. Veterans Rosales and Benitez each try to maximize their opportunities based on the mistakes of youth. Dallas will likely cover from the middle with Michel, while Seattle's extra coverage will be from the backline. Since Seattle uses two forwards that will open space for them to succeed. It will be imperative on Lamar or Obafemi to exploit the their one on one match with young Woodberry. Since the Sounders are likely to use the same combination of high pressure and asymmetry they can force the pace of the match by rapidly attacking out of the turnovers. Set-play defense will be the biggest threat from Dallas, particularly if they get all of Cooper, Perez and Hassli on the pitch at once.
