Episode 105: It is a dark time for the Sounders

As if the loss against the Earthquakes wasn't bad enough, the Sounders are facing a full blown injury crisis as well. We break down the match, look ahead to the Rapids match, answer listener questions and more.

USA TODAY Sports

It is a dark time for the Sounders. Although the Heritage Cup has been procured, Earthquakes troops have driven the Sounders forces from the Bay Area and inflicted heavy casualties.

Evading the dreaded Western Conference Starfleet, a group of freedom fighters led by Sigi Skywalker has established a new secret base in Tukwila.

The evil lord Darth Lenhart obsessed with injuring as many Sounders as possible, has dispatched thousands of remote probes into the far reaches of the Pacific Northwest...

On this week's edition of the show we pick through the ruins of the Sounders' gut wrenching loss against the San Jose Earthquakes. Brad Evans, Michael Gspurning and Djimi Traore were all injured in the match, the offense continued to sputter and the lack of a stable CAM is causing continued to problems for Seattle.

But the march must roll on so we are joined by Chris "UZ" White from the Burgundy Wave to look ahead to this week's match against the Colorado Rapids. Aaron has some more to say about the idea of Eddie Johnson being lazy, there's tons of listener questions and we cheer ourselves up with some excellent responses to the latest Golazo Question of the Week.
