The wave of injuries (some trauma, some muscular) is passing. Sigi Schmid has a few more options available to him for the Sunday match against Chivas USA than he did in the draw against the Rapids. There is strong chance at another new lineup depending on choices at wide midfield and center back. Obafemi Martins picked up a knock during a practice early in the week so he is again not practicing in full, but seems likely to play.

"Oba was good. He did the beginning part of practice," Sigi told the media post practice. "When he came out, I pulled him out. I told him I just wanted him to go through half of the 11-v-11 and he did that. He was fine. We'll see how he is now, but he said he felt fine once he got going."

The rest of the injured list is getting shorter. Traore participated in full in the earlier practice sessions this week as did Rose. Each could return to the starting lineup.

OUT - MID Caskey (R ankle impingement) GK Ford (R patella fracture) GK Gspurning (L forearm sprain) GK Hahnemann (R hamstring strain) MID Joseph (R calf strain) MID Lund (R plantar fasciitis) MID Zakuani (athletic pubalgia)

QUESTIONABLE - MID Rose (R hamstring strain) DEF Traore (L hamstring strain)

Currently listed as OUT Michael Gspurning could be in the 18 as early as Sunday night, but will not start.
