Toronto FC is a bad team. This is known, but how this poor team attacks leaves Seattle's midfield to play a higher than usual. It will be necessary for the Seattle Sounders defense to remain stout and understand where Convey is and prepare for the long balls against them. Against the poor defense of the Reds Seattle's attack should dominate. There is no need for caution. This is a segment of the match where even without Dempsey Sounders FC have a great advantage. Pummeling Bendik will lead to goals.
Anything Mr. Dempsey does today is a bonus. As a late addition there is little reason to think that he is integrated into the side. There is no reason to think he will go 90. While our expectations are high, the fact is today he's a wild card.
