Reign to be featured in LevyFilms documentary

New, comments

The short film will apparently tell the story of the Reign's first season in the NWSL, which, though disappointing overall, had some high points.

The Seattle Reign FC released a trailer today for an upcoming short film on their inaugural season in the National Women's Soccer League, produced by LEVYFilms. The trailer is comprised of footage from the Reign's final home game against the Portland Thorns FC. The trailer is the quality we have come to expect from LEVYFilms, so there is every indication that the short film will be great as well.

Though the Reign did not have the best season, finishing second to last after losing their final four games, there were plenty of high points. They had a month-long unbeaten streak, earning 14 points from 6 matches from mid-June through mid-July, and were unbeaten at home during the month of July. Of course, there was also the 9-game losing streak as well as the 3-game losing streak to close the season. Of particular note was a 0-4-0 record against the Thorns.
