Leo sees red, EJ heads another goal, and Dempsey does some Dempsey stuff. (Animated)

The Seattle Sounders FC played over 85 minutes 10 on 11 but yet somehow gutted out a 1-0 victory over Columbus Crew.

In the seventh minute, Leo Gonzalez was shown a red card for a "last-man" foul and the Sounders were down a man. Yet in the 14th minute Mauro Rosales served in a swerving free kick which found the head of Eddie Johnson - for the second consecutive match - and the Sounders scored what would be eventually be the winning goal. While not scoring his first goal for the Sounders yet, Clint Dempsey did pull off the classic "backheel nutmeg" right through Dominic Oduro's legs.
