A battle for the ages, to be sung about to our children and grandchildren

It'll be that kind of game.

This is going to be a heck of a weekend for the staff and crew at Centurylink Field. On Sunday there's some big competitive "football" game, but tonight we get to see a true clash of titans. Number one versus number two for the right to lead MLS and grab the standings by the balls.

Seattle's 12-match unbeaten streak will also be on the line, as well as the Sounder's record in front of crowds of 50,000 or more. The home squad should be extra motivated to take down a team that dropped them on their back end twice in Sandy, Utah earlier this year. With the keepers between the posts, it will almost be surprising to get a goal at all.

Tonight's match could very well decide the Supporter's Shield winners. If you will be attending, there's no better time to use up that Costco pack of herbal tea. Keep those vocal chords loosened up, and let's get in first place.
