Sounders Reserves vs Real Salt Lake: Gamethread

Who wants a little more RSL butt-kicking?

Zak is back.
Zak is back.

So last night happened. Last night happened, and now we are kings of the mountain. And you know why that happened? It sure wasn't because the Sounders played the same eleven guys every week. Nope, it wasn't that at all. Depth has been the name of the game for the Sounders, a club that can seemingly plug in anyone and get the job done.

If a player doesn't end up on the starting XVIII (a joke for all you Roman Numeral fans) they get their minutes in the reserve matches. This one is the very last home match of the season, and should feature at least one notable guest in Steve Zakuani (making his long-awaited second comeback). If you've got college football to watch on Saturday, no worries; this game starts at noon and ends at or around 2:00, leaving you plenty of time to catch the clean, wholesome NCAA action at 3:00 or 3:30.

Lineups will be posted as they become available. As always, admission to Starfire's reserve matches requires only a five dollar parking pass and an optional donation to local charity. Here's to another Sounders victory!
