Sounders documentary will premiere on Oct. 23 at Cinerama

Tickets for the first-ever public showing of "American Football" will be $20.

At long last "American Football," the LevyFilms produced Seattle Sounders documentary, will make its debut on Oct. 23, 7 p.m. at Cinerama. Tickets for the premiere will go on sale on Thursday, cost $20 and can be purchased through Cinerama's website or at the box office.

The film mostly chronicles the Sounders 2012 season, with some bits from the end of 2011 including the now-infamous 3-0 loss to Real Salt Lake in the first leg of the Western Conference semifinals. Head coach Sigi Schmid's speech after that game is among the highlights of the film.

While footage like that will surely get people talking, the heart of the film is the interviews with players and team personnel. Among those featured in the film are Schmid, Eddie Johnson, Brad Evans, Fredy Montero, Michael Gspurning, Osvaldo Alonso, Mauro Rosales, Zach Scott, Marc Burch, Steve Zakuani, David Estrada, Patrick Ianni, Jeff Parke, Christian Tiffert, Chris Henderson and Adrian Hanauer.

As of now, this is the only scheduled showing of the film.
