Sounder at Heart New Year's Resolutions

USA TODAY Sports

I don't normally do New Year's resolutions. Maybe it's fatherhood. Maybe it's boredom. Maybe it's simply my desire to create some more content. Whatever it was, this year I felt like doing some. I also felt it was appropriate to ask the Sounder at Heart staff to chip in with theirs. Please feel free to add your own in the comments.

Anyway, here are mine:

Do a better job of turning conflict into conversation.

Help create an even more inclusive community that encourages longtime lurkers to become regular commenters.

Write fewer straight news stories by adding more more context.

Watch more soccer from leagues other than MLS.

Finally record an episode of Nos Audietis aboard a boat.

Do at least one more episode of NA in front of an audience and this time make sure the recording is listenable.

Get around to recording at least an episode of the YouTube show we planned.

Watch at least a few more episodes of Game of Thrones.

Finally try Little Uncle's Pioneer Square location.

The staff's resolutions

Dave Clark: In 2014 I'll try to figure out how to make my probing questions not read like jerky snark

malcontentjake: I will try to give the diamond a chance. I said I will try, I can't promise anything...

Eric Flatness: I resolve to produce more with less work.

Peter Woodburn: My new years resolution is to have every comment I make on SaH to get at least 10 recs.

Jackington: My resolution is to not take Sounders losses so hard. I plan on this not being an issue by the Sounders not losing in 2014.

Zach Woosley: In 2014 I will attempt to create bigger and more dramatic openings for Nos Audietis. Call it an attempt to strive for Likkit-level feats of creativity.

Paul Cox: I'm going to post more, and I'm going to try and get more people involved in the Alliance.
