United States vs. Honduras: Gamethread

Clint Dempsey starting and will be captain.

Jurgen Klinsmann is continuing to experiment with his lineups, this time trying Jermaine Jones at center back when the United States hosts Honduras in Wednesday's friendly in Florida. That's probably the biggest surprise in a lineup that also includes Clint Dempsey reprising his role as captain. DeAndre Yedlin is on the bench.

Klinsmann will also be using a lineup that lacks a true defensive midfielder, as Michael Bradley appears to be positioned atop the diamond and Mix Diskerud at the base. They'll be flanked by Graham Zusi and Alejandro Bedoya, who filled similar roles during the World Cup.

The match against Honduras features many of the team's players from the World Cup, but will be one of the lowest attended matches in recent history. A crowd of about 10,000 is expected for the match that's being played in Boca Raton, Fla. at Florida Atlantic University.

Kickoff is scheduled for 5 p.m. and the game will air on ESPN.
