Well, look at this. Apparently someone at MLSsoccer.com got the memo that the Seattle Sounders are winning a lot of Goal of the Week honors. Marco Pappa's Supporters' Shield-winning goal was not nominated this week and now we see some more shenanigans with Obafemi Martins and Pappa being put in the same bracket for the Goal of the Year award.
Granted, there were like 30 Sounders goals that were eligible, so maybe this was to be expected, but there are also four of the 16 four-goal pods already out and two of them have no Sounders. And, it should be said, of those four pods, no other teams are represented by two goals.
Of course, this is not a very big deal. Do what you think is right. Vote here. Martins is actually nominated in another pod as well. Let's make sure he wins. Happy voting!
