Seattle Sounders have some holes on their roster with retirements by Hahnemann and Traore nearly certain, Yedlin heading to Tottenham, Anibaba to KC via Orlando and continuing age in the backline the RED1 may be an opportunity to snag a player or two.
Here are six players that make sense;
- One of Gruenebaum or Kronberg. Both are cheap, in their peak years because they are keepers and valid backups.
- Perk is younger and cheaper than the first two keepers. He's also got a connection to the organization via the Seattle Wolves.
- Attakora is a decent flyer at CB. He's only 25 and cheap.
- Sigi's talked quite a bit about wanting more width. Alhassan offers that.
- If Seattle makes a move with one of their current left backs, Gardner would offer cover there.
