If you thought all the post-season awards had already been handed out, think again. The first annual Premios Univision Deportes award show took place tonight on UniMás and Univision Deportes, Marco Pappa won the MLS Player of Year award, beating out Chivas TBD Chivas/TBD's Erick "Cubo" Torres and Diego Valeri of the Portland Timbers.

Pappa's brace in the final game of the season against the LA Galaxy is likely what gave him the edge over Valeri and Torres.

He took some time to celebrate with his new trophy.

Pappa posed for a selfie with the show's host shortly after winning the award:

Landon Donovan was also at the event as a presenter. He was also for Best Artistic Performance and won a Lifetime Achievement Award.
