With the college season over and signing season just beginning former Sounders Academy players are pulling in recognition by TopDrawerSoccer. Jordan Morris made their Best XI. Darwin Jones made Second XI and Seyi Adekoya was in the Freshman Second XI.
Seattle's Academy is very attacking heavy, as both David Olsen and Dennis Kalamar started ahead of Seyi with the U18s. Olsen was at San Diego State while Kalamar is now transferring to Gonzaga.
In central defense Michael Gallagher was rated as the 6th best defender and 16th best player in the Pac12.
Central mid Jordan Schweitzer was the 8th best player in the Summit League.
Sophomore defender Kyle Bjornethun was considered the 10th best in the WAC while with Seattle U.
Navy's star defender Joseph Greenspan went to the Vegas Combine that the Sounders just hosted. TDS had him as one of three defenders in their Best XI. UW's stud midfielder Cristian Roldan (also Best XI) is expected to get a GA offer. Last year Sigi Schmid pushed for his inclusion, but the California native went back to the purple & gold.
