It is no longer a rumor. Seattle's dynamic right back heads to Tottenham Hotspur in January. DeAndre Yedlin's transfer and Seattle Sounders FC is now without a clear starter at the position.
CONFIRMED: We are pleased to confirm that @yedlinny will be joining the Club in January. #COYS

Yedlin is moving over at the earliest opportunity in order to hasten his transition from homegrown star into hard working EPL regular.
Head Coach Mauricio Pochettino said: "DeAndre is a young player with great potential who has already achieved a lot in Major League Soccer. It is important for his development that he is given the time to adapt to his new surroundings both on and off the pitch and we believe that by coming to us in January it will give him the best opportunity to do so."
Few players have risen as quickly as Yedlin. It was just two years ago that he wrapped up a college season and signed his pro contract. Since then he's twice made the All Star Game, went to the World Cup and won the hearts and minds of soccer fans throughout the United States.
Now, he's off to North London.
