After four seasons with Seattle Sounders FC Josh Ford moved on to Orlando City SC in the Re-Entry Draft Phase 2. Ford regularly beat out competition to make the roster, but ends with only 245 minutes played in the Reserves and 180 minutes on loan to the OC Blues. He did spend 36 competitive matches on the bench.
Shot Stopping:
This is where Ford earns the most respect. He is quick, puts himself in good positions and is a catcher (not a puncher).
Distribution:
Doesn't have the best kick. He uses his throwing to start breaks rather than just restart short play tight to goal.
Leadership:
It is difficult to judge his leadership in game situations since he's played so few games.
Best Case 2015:
Josh will start the season as the number two keeper behind Ricketts. When Tally Hall gets healthy Ford will likely go down to Louisville to be the starter in USL PRO.
