The Sounders back line will have its collective hands full when it faces the current MLS Player of the Week Bernardo Anor next weekend.

There is reason for hope though. The Brotherly Game found that the expected goals from Philadelphia's match with Columbus was actually the inverse of the 2-1 result in favor of the Crew.

Columbus has also parted ways with team president Mark McCullers.

The New England Revolution is getting new artificial turf at Gillette Stadium. It happens to be the same FieldTurf Revolution product used by the Sounders and the Seahawks at CenturyLink Field. The new turf will be broken in when the Houston Dynamo visit on April 12.

World Cup

Italy national team manager Cesare Prandelli has reportedly agreed to a two-year contract extension that would keep him in charge through Euro 2016. Italy's runner-up finish at Euro 2012 and its unbeaten run in World Cup qualifying likely made the decision to extend Prandelli's contract prior to the World Cup a bit easier.
