A NeaGoal, an ObaGoal and ObaFlip and ObaHop, and a TraoreCycle. (Animated)

The Seattle Sounders survived the snow in Montreal and came away with a 2-0 shutout victory over the Impact that featured headed goals by Lamar Neagle and Obafemi Martins. Perhaps the highlight of the night was the bicycle kick attempt Djimi Traore took that might have been a goal of the year candidate had it gone to either side of GK Troy Perkins.

Lamar Neagle flicks on the free kick for a goal

Fair to say Seattle could have had at least 4 goals, save only for a quick Troy Perkins hand to deny Obafemi Martins a goal on his first headed attempt on frame and a long range shot by Lamar Neagle that was denied by the Montreal goal post. Couple those chances with Djimi Traore's perfectly hit bicycle kick and a few close calls by the Montreal Impact and this match was enjoyable to watch.

A great free kick ball by Gonzalo Pineda and Lamar Neagle nods the ball over a flailing Perkins:

Troy Perkins gets a little redemption with his nice glove save on Oba's header:

The first ObaGoal of 2014. Great combination play that started with a Pineda pass, individual effort by Neagle, and nice cross back in by Kenny Cooper:

And the first ObaFlip of 2014:

And a bit more of the ObaHop:
