It is live. It is local. It is year six, or twenty, or forty. The season begins with a strong test and a national audience. Sporting Kansas City won MLS Cup last year and made nearly zero changes to that squad. Seattle Sounders FC failed at their goals while still making the MLS Cup Playoffs and tore the roster apart.
For non-fans this is an interesting match. The high pressure 4-3-3 of KC provides unique challenges to Seattle's athletic 4-4-2 variant. American national teamers will be scattered throughout both sides. Sounders will be a bit weak defensively on the left, while KC is going to struggle with the Yedlin/Evans issue on the right.
And the big question - Clint.
Will there again be last minute magic from the Emerald City?
