You've surely heard Ross Fletcher's call of Obafemi Martins' remarkable goal by now. After all, that's what was on the TV broadcast and what is being used on the video highlights. But what you probably haven't heard, unless you were away from the TV, is Arlo White's call of the goal.
Well, we are here to serve. Photographer Mike Russell synced the audio with the video:
Like everyone else in the stadium, White is clearly taken off guard by the goal and you can tell in his call. White dubs it "sensational" which is pretty apt, if a bit understated. It was good to have Arlo back, if only for one game and it was even better that we got to hear him make a call on such an amazing strike.
I gotta say, though, Fletcher's "a symphony you'll only hear in Seattle" was slightly better.
