US Women vs the Canadian Empire on WatchESPN

Two Reigns defend the sanctity of the US against a Canadian team that will be eager to prove something on home turf.

Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

America may have foiled Canada's numerous invasion attempts (as detailed in the documentaries Canadian Bacon and South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut) but our defense against their perfidy, halfhearted embrace of the metric system, and excessive use of the letter 'u' is never over. And tonight we face another skirmish in that long war, when the United States Women's National Team travels deep into an enemy stronghold known as "Winnipeg" to defend our honor.

The game is at 5 and broadcast here on WatchESPN, which should be free for you if you have Comcast Internet (and most of you do, because monopoly).

Reign players Hope Solo and Sydney Leroux are in the starting lineup. Megan Rapinoe didn't travel with the team due to injury, and Stephanie Cox was called up but isn't in the lineup or on the bench. And Camelina Moscato was called up for Canada, but is injured and didn't make the lineup.
