World Cup 2014 Open Thread: Argentina v Iran, Germany v Ghana, Nigeria v Bosnia & Herzegovenia

Group F's second round will wrap up on this Saturday while USA fans will get to scout their round three opponent - Germany.

The 9 AM match between Iran and Argentina on ESPN will not be the end of the tourney for Iran, and it is unlikely to be the Persians first win. But it is a chance to test themselves against one of the best. It is also a chance for Asia to get those first three points. Iran also has an MLS player on the bench and their coaches all have pasts in America.

Noon sees the biggest match for US fans. It is the other of the Group G games. At the end of Germany v Ghana the Americans will know how many points they need to advance. They will also have a strong idea about how good the Germans are. Klinsmann's men take on Germany on Thursday.

You want Germany to win.

At 3 PM, again on ESPN, Nigeria and Bosnia play. That's a coach that thinks that Oba isn't any good and a countries of two countries. Europe probably nabs the points, but this may be the best time to mow the lawn today.
