Sounders sell out U.S. Open Cup opener at Starfire

Game will be streamed on for those unable to attend.

As expected, the Seattle Sounders' first U.S. Open Cup match of the year has sold out. The announcement came on Wednesday, a week after they first went on sale. That means a crowd of approximately 4,000 people should be there to see the Sounders take on PSA Elite in the fourth round of the tournament. If the Sounders win, they'd host the winner of the Sacramento Republic-San Jose Earthquakes match about a week later (the exact date of the game won't be confirmed until the opponent is).

Hopefully, you weren't planning to show up to the game without tickets and we advised against such a gamble in our "Starfire Beginner's Guide."

For those of you lucky enough to grab a ticket, get ready for a great atmosphere and hopefully an enjoyable result. The Sounders are currently working on a 17-game U.S. Open Cup winning streak in games at Starfire and having end against an amateur side would be ... almost unthinkable.

For those of you who won't be joining us in Tukwila, the Sounders have you covered. They'll be hosting a livestream of the game on with Ross Fletcher on the call.
