Clint Dempsey and Team America have their final send-off match today against the Oba-less Nigeria. ESPN will have the match at 3 PM.

After the match in Jacksonville, Florida it's off to Brazil for a couple closed-door games and then the World Cup. That generally means that this final send-off match will be the one with a lineup and tactics most like what Jurgen will deploy in matches that count.

That means inverted fullbacks, a diamond-like thing and Clint Dempsey up top. It will mean subs that are all about using speed (DeAndre Yedlin) to breakdown the tired defenses. It will be in the mid-80s with a chance of thunderstorms, quite similar to the weather in Natal, Brazil (91 and cloudy today). Fitness could be an issue.

Nigeria thinks they don't need Oba. After they struggle against the USA they may re-think that, but too bad. We have him for his own World Cup here.

Your next opportunity to watch the USA is June 16th against Ghana, when it counts. This one is about funsies.
