Sounders v Timbers US Open Cup - Gamethread

The 7:30 PM match is streamed on, or you can watch the words here.

Mike Russell

Starfire Sports will be alive with the heartbeat of Seattle Sounders fans as their voices echo off the roof, hill and trees that surround the tiny pitch. This win-or-go-home match against Portland is in some ways a journey back to a simpler time when the two sides didn't meet on national TV, but still had the passion for a rivalry that is "deeper than hate." Just think, in five days the modern version of the Seattle-Portland will take place in front of nearly 67,000 in a massive stadium.
