Several MLS players will not be participating as they will be at the Homegrown Game.

Jordan Morris continues to get looks from the youth national teams. The Sounders Academy product and soon-to-be Stanford sophomore received another call-up, this time to the United States U23 team as it prepares for the 2016 Olympics qualification.

The 18-man squad will train together in in Nassau, Bahamas from Aug. 3-7 and play a match against the Bahamas national team on Aug. 6.

The timing of the training camp means some MLS-based players were likely asked to choose between this game and the HomeGrown Game on Aug. 3. That could help explain why someone like Sean Okoli or even DeAndre Yedlin -- who will play in the MLS All-Star Game on Aug. 6 -- was not called in.
