Jess Fishlock has a lot on her plate

Not only is the midfielder prepping for the NWSL playoffs, but she's been called into Wales for a World Cup qualifier and agreed to a loan that will send her to Frankfurt.

There might not be a women's soccer player in the world racking up more frequent flier miles than Jess Fishlock. And her schedule doesn't promise to get any less full this offseason.

The Seattle Reign midfielder, who has already played in 22 of 23 league games, has been called into the Wales national team for a World Cup qualifier against England on Aug. 21. As a result, Fishlock will miss the Reign's regular-season finale against the Portland Thorns on Aug. 17, but is expected to be back in time to participate in the semifinal playoff match on Aug. 24. Wales are currently in position to advance out of the group stage and into the final qualifying playoff round as they attempt to qualify for their first ever Women's World Cup finals.

Once the Reign's season ends, Fishlock will once again be on the move. For the third straight year, Fishlock will be going on an offseason loan, this time joining FFC Frankfurt for a portion of their Bundesliga and Champions League campaigns. Fishlock is scheduled to return to the Reign on April 1, 2015, in time for the start of the next NWSL season.
