Readers are being asked to submit a roughly 90-word intro that will open the show.

LevyFilms wants you. No, seriously, they really want you to contribute to their latest project.

That project promises to be pretty damn cool. It's not quite a sequel to "American Football" that some have been hoping for, but it is the ready-for-primetime version of the series he's been doing throughout the year called "In the 18." This 30-minute-long special is scheduled to air Aug. 20 on JoeTV, the television home of the Sounders. It will include the same kinds of interviews and footage that we've all come to associated with Levy and feature an insider's look at Wednesday's U.S. Open Cup game.

Here's where you all come in: He wants the intro to be penned by a Sounder at Heart reader, although Q13 will also be taking submissions through their Facebook page. Think about the way Star Trek opens, "Where no man has gone before...", and let your imagination run. Q13 sports director Aaron Levine will provide the voiceover. Ideally it will be in the ballpark of about 90 words and celebrate the fans, culture, the desire to be part of something bigger than themselves and love of team and city as well as anything else that makes being a Sounders fan special.

The entries can be left in the comments here and Scott Levy himself (he goes by LEVYfilms in the comments) will be helping choose the winner along with representatives from Q13, which will then be used on the actual show. This is the kind of opportunity so few fans get and is a real sign that Levy has a sense of what makes Sounders fans different. Let's not disappoint.
