USA Today Sports

Can the Seattle Sounders keep its winning streak alive in a Saturday away match against Real Salt Lake? Let's take a look at some of the key RSL players and compare team stats ahead of the weekend.

Player / Injury Updates

The Sounders will be without Obafemi Martins, who accumulated two yellow cards in last week's victory against the Houston Dynamo. For RSL, Alvaro Saborio suffered a fracture in his foot and will miss the game, as will Jordan Allen and Rich Balchan.

Interesting Stats

Take a look at the percentage of Aerial Duels won by RSL. 43 percent. It is time for another #AirMarshall goal!

If we are going by the data, we need to worry a bit about the first 15 minutes of the game. The Sounders give up 29% of all goals, and RSL scores 28% of all goals, during this time frame.

I still haven't had to make any updates to the goal and assist leaders for the Sounders in over a month. I am ready to make some changes!

The Sounders have the best record on the road, at 5-3-2. RSL's home record is also quite strong at 6-1-5. Seattle has kept a clean sheet in 6 of their last 8 matches against Salt Lake. Let's make that 7 tomorrow.
