MLS All Stars v Bayern Munich - Gamethread

Four Seattle Sounders FC players will enter Providence Park representing the "home" side on Wednesday night. It would have been five All Star Sounders, but Chad Marshall will not perform as he tries to heal for matches that matter. They and the rest of Major League Soccer's best (+Liam Ridgewell) will be taking on Bayern Munich.

Bayern's probably going to roll MLS and put the league's stars even with their annual match against invited guests. That could suck, but it's an All Star Game. Do you remember who won the MLB All Star Game just a couple weeks ago? Nope.

Don't look at this as a game of tactics, or statements. Enjoy pick-up soccer between a bunch of players you actually recognize. Consider it a testimonial to Landon. Have fun.

Five Sounders are All Stars. That's a cool recognition for them. They deserve it. Portland Timbers fans may just wind up cheering for them at some point, but definitely not at the start.
