Two Sounders strikes nominated for Goal of the Week

It would appear as though someone from the Major League Soccer home office is onto us. They've noticed that Seattle Sounders fans have been pretty darn good at voting in numbers and ensuring their players win Goal of the Week. So good that Sounders have won the honor a league-best seven times this year, including three times in the past five weeks.

Well, MLS is throwing us a curveball this week by nominating two Sounders for the award. Is it an attempt to split the vote? An attempt to see just how strong our voting power actually is? Or maybe they just realized that both Lamar Neagle and Obafemi Martins both hit pretty amazing strikes and deserved to be nominated.

It should be noted that there were a couple other really good goals this week, so nothing should be guaranteed. Martins has already won the award four times and Neagle has won it once. I'm giving no advice here, just vote.
