Neagle's sub appearance earns man of the match in Texas

Read community ratings from loss at FC Dallas and cast your ballots for the exciting win over Chivas USA.

Matthew Emmons-USA TODAY Sports

For the second time in a week, Sounder at Heart readers have chosen a substitute as man of the match. Readers gave Lamar Neagle a 5.94 rating for his substitute appearance in Texas against FC Dallas, the highest given to any Seattle Sounders player in the 3-1 disappointing loss.

It's probably important to note here that the score is below the 6 that constitutes "good" in our rating system, meaning no player received a "good" rating from those who rated the game through the SaH website. Clint Dempsey had the highest score for a player that started the game, with a 5.61.

Five starters and two substitutes finished with ratings below a 5, which is "adequate" in our rating system, which speaks to the displeasure with the effort in Frisco.

Read the full community scores here, then move on to rate the players in the much more satisfying 4-2 win this Saturday against Chivas USA this Saturday. My scores are in parenthesis after the community score.
