Everything seems to continue the idea that there will be no cross-conference play. There is no first team game on the 21st. That could mean a few more players loaned down from 1st team to S2. Both S2 and the first team are on the road on April 18th, the only other known S2 match at this time. That likely means a much more youthful squad.
Sounders 2 still have not announced a signing, and have have seven weeks until their first game. There is a report that former Sounders Academy player Duncan McCormick signed with S2. This is the second report that he is under contract, the previous one stating that he was an HGP with the first team. Sounder at Heart has been unable to confirm either report.
With three weeks after the First Team breaks training camp, S2 will be able to get their pickings of the players that didn't earn MLS deals.
The full USL PRO schedule will be out Monday.
