On a wet Sunday in January about 150 people gathered at the Berliner Pub in Renton. These Sounders fans, listeners to SonarFeed or readers of SounderAtHeart, joined together for bragging rights on EA's FIFA 15, to see Lamar Neagle and to raise money for the Neagle Foundation.
Here I sit on a flight to BOS about to cry. Thanks to donations since end of #SFFT15 we just crossed $10,000 for @LamarNeagle Foundation

The more than $10,000 raised will help youth in Seattle, Federal Way and surrounding areas through partnerships with the Ren/Way Boys & Girls Club and America SCORES.
This year former Academy center mid Justin Solomon won the overall title and the SparkleDonkey Division. RealNeil206 took the Drink Golazo division. RubenLazcano took the Federal Way Cup. Former Sounders Academy keeper McKay Owsley took the Redemption Cup, a 2nd chance competition. Alexavier won the Kids Cup.
I sucked. I was beat 5-nil by blyan.

In the Redemption Cup I fell 2-1, which meant at least I scored. Eric Flatness was the better of the SaH contestants. He won the 1st round 4-2 and fell in the 2nd 4-1. Everyone played with the Sounders.
Through raffles, voluntary entry fees, a silent auction and pure donations the event blew past its original goal of $5,000. The event will return for a fourth time next year. This was its largest field with 64 competitors.
Josh Ford and Dom Dismuke (currently at UW) were other Sounders in attendance.
