DeAndre Yedlin trains with Tottenham, assigned shirt number

Photos from Spurs training show DeAndre in drills with his new team for the first time. No longer Seattle Sounders #17, he is now the Lilywhites' 12th Man.

DeAndre Yedlin took to the pitch with his new Tottenham Hotspur teammates for the first time today. The daily training gallery shows Yedlin donning new colors and a new number - 12. The photos aren't exactly action-packed, but there's something satisfying about seeing the young Sounder taking instruction with some world-class soccer names.

We don't know if Yedlin had a say in receiving the number 12, but at the very least we can assume it will be a little reminder of his hometown and home stadium-mates. In another nod to Seattle, Yedlin is sporting some bright adidas in a familiar shade of green. To be fair, his Rave Green shoe collection is probably fairly large right now.

Tottenham are coming off a 1-1 draw in the FA cup, and are preparing for a return to league play on Saturday.

There's also a video of the training if you're so inclined.
