Clint Dempsey, Brad Evans called to United States National Team

The squad that will face Mexico in the Rose Bowl for the brand new CONCACAF Cup features two Sounders, as well as DeAndre Yedlin.

When Mexico faces the United States on October 10th (FoxSports 1, 6:30 PM) two Sounders will be in red, white and blue. Both Clint Dempsey, former USA captain, and Brad Evans are in the 23-man roster announced today. Neither will miss any MLS matches and will stay on a weekend match fitness schedule.

Former Sounder DeAndre Yedlin was also called in to the camp. Jordan Morris will remain with the US U23s.

Every forward on the roster is from MLS with Altidore, Wondolowski and Zardes joining Dempsey up top. Twelve of the 23 play in the home league. Four play in the EPL, three in the Championship, two in Liga MX, one in the Bundesliga, and one is in France.
