Sounders' next match finally has a kickoff time, and will be on ESPN

Oct. 18's game in Houston is the first "flex" weekend.

For several weeks, Seattle Sounders fans have been waiting patiently as the time for the Oct. 18 match against the Houston Dynamo has been listed as "TBD." That game finally has an official time: 2 p.m. Pacific and it will be aired on ESPN.

Here's how the team explained the delayed announcement:

As part of the enhanced scheduling initiatives announced before the 2015 season, the final two weekends of the regular season allows the broadcasters to select the most meaningful matches as teams jockey for position for the Audi 2015 MLS Cup Playoffs. The last day of the season, dubbed Decision Day, features games across each conference played simultaneously on October 25, with a key match in each conference broadcast nationally by FS1 and ESPN, respectively. The schedule for Decision Day will be announced on Monday, October 19.
