Chad Barrett went from relaxing as a spectator to saving his team's bacon pretty quickly Sunday evening, snatching the late late goal that keeps the Sounders in a more solid playoff position. He certainly did well for himself in those limited minutes he played, but maybe he wouldn't have entered the match at all if his teammates had taken care of business earlier in the match.
Despite plenty of possession, the Sounders were having a tough time breaking down a Galaxy defense that was packed in after being given an easy goal early by a big mistake. Are Clint Dempsey and Obafemi Martins out of form? How effective was Andreas Ivanschitz on the left? How did Osvaldo Alonso do in front of his father?
