Don't go out and start making plans yet, but CenturyLink Field is very much in the running to be one of the hosts for next summer's Copa America Centenario. Seattle Sounders Chief Operating Officer Bart Wiley said nothing was finalized, but gave strong indications that something could soon be during Thursday's Alliance Meeting.
Wiley on Copa America: C-Link is possibly a host building for that event. "They want to be in Seattle, and we want it to be in Seattle."

The Copa America Centenario will feature all 10 of CONMEBOL's countries -- which include Brazil, Argentina and Colombia -- and six CONCACAF nations. The United States, Mexico, Costa Rica and Jamaica have already qualified with two more spots left to be filled.
The tournament will run from June 3-28 and is on the FIFA calendar, clearing the way for some of the world's top players to participate.
UPDATE: ESPN is now reporting that in addition to the tournament's final being at New Jersey's MetLife Stadium, there are nine other venues "locked in." One of those appears to be CenturyLink Field.
