As is our annual tradition, it is time to let our community rank the Sounders players by how much you think they contributed to the team's success in the 2015 season. We include the number of minutes played in all competition as a rough guideline to how involved the player was, but ultimately the standard by which you rank the players is up to you.
As a reminder, the top 5 from the 2014 season was:
- Obafemi Martins
- Chad Marshall
- Osvaldo Alonso
- Clint Dempsey
- DeAndre Yedlin
This may be the toughest rankings we've seen since we started these. The team's most talented players were either missing for extended periods or joined the team halfway through the season, and the middle of the roster saw a significant amount of rotation as players moved in and out of favor.
