Seattle

There's a man trying to make Seattle a five-sport city by building a new arena just south of CenturyLink Field. That location isn't agreeable to the Port of Seattle, who are teaming up with the Port of Tacoma to try and sink the building however they can.

Vote for Jessica Fishlock in Golazo's Gladiator Program.

DeAndre Yedlin was watching Seattle's season-ending playoff match with FC Dallas, and offered his thoughts on the game to MLSSoccer.com.

Tied for the most wins in the nation, the Seattle Redhawks advanced to the WAC Title game with a 4-0 win over CSU Bakersfield.

Back with the Nigerian National Team, Obafemi Martins has a goal-oriented approach.

MLS

When MLS started, only a handful of owners sunk their money into the ten original clubs. Now, it appears the league will start 2016 with a single owner for each club for the first time as AEG prepares to sell either the Houston Dynamo or LA Galaxy.

US

Even without Clint Dempsey, the Sounders organization was well represented in the United States' match with St. Vincent and the Grenadines.

World

The horrific attacks in France last week gained international attention, even more so due to the easily accessible footage available. One of the targets was an international friendly match, where a man with an explosive vest tried to get through security. When he was discovered, he ran, detonating a short distance away. The explosion could be heard on the game's television broadcast.

France did not suspend sporting events in the aftermath, allowing Bob Bradley to make his debut as the head coach of Le Havre. It didn't go well, as the second-division side fell to division six's St. Omer.

The Men in Blazers held their own convention (clearly inspired by YachtCon, theirs was named BlazerCon).

Xabi Alonso has been a major part of Bayern Munich's long run of success, but his advanced age (34) has likely called an end to his top level German run.

After recent impressive crowds for the Canadian Nationals, the Canadian Men are scheduled to return to Vancouver for a match with Mexico. Canada's soccer association has also confirmed that they are working on their own small soccer league.

Sporting atmospheres around the world are suffering from rising ticket prices, not the least in England.
