Ross Fletcher has likely called his final game for the Seattle Sounders on TV (he'll be doing their radio until their playoff run ends, hopefully at MLS Cup). But we might not have seen the last of him.
We have no idea if this is the start of more local gigs, but Fletcher was on King5's New Day Northwest as a guest host. Fletcher was featured in a bunch of segments, which suggests this might not have been a one-off thing. Time will tell. You can watch all of the segments here, but this was the first of the show:
It would make sense that Fletcher would prefer to find a job working in soccer somewhere -- and it would be great to see him hook on somewhere -- but it would also be wonderful to see him stick around. He and his family clearly love the Pacific Northwest and it would be wonderful to have him stick around in a capacity that showcases his infectious personality.
