Seattle
Sean Ugo Okoli was one of Seattle Sounders FC's first home grown signings, but it wasn't long before he was off to greener (less green?) pastures in search of more playing time. He didn't exactly find that with New England Revolution, however he is off to train with Portugal's Sporting CP for a few weeks, and he's pretty excited.
Who knows, while he's there he might pick up some of Fredy Montero's goal scoring genius, which is finally getting back on track.
Major League Soccer
LAFC has been lying dormant news-wise for a little while, but behind the scenes things seem to be buzzing right along. Expect the new club to be hiring a head soccer person soon to begin making the big soccer-related decisions. As opposed to branding decisions, like having red be the "primary color" of the club. (In faker news, they have also decided to dump black in favor of white and do alternating red and white vertical stripes on the jerseys).
In case you can somehow manage to still be interested in these developments, Miami Beckham United is still scrambling for a stadium site, this time at their backup, backup, backup location after a crucial school board vote was postponed, (presumably until sometime past FC Beckham's MLS "get a stadium already" deadline).
The Revolution are generally a fun team to watch, which certainly was not the case for a few years there. Luckily for the Revs and this whole gosh darned single entity league, ticket sales are up. 2016 season ticket sales have already surpassed 2015 numbers.
World
Today the entire world stops in recognition of the American tradition of Black Friday. Take my advice: Don't leave the house, but shop your Sounder-at-Heart out for Seattle soccer related gifts.
