Brad Evans, Leo Gonzalez at least possibilities for Leg 2 of FC Dallas series

Both potential starters were at least able to do some jogging around training field.

No real updates have been given on player injuries and availability, but a number of Seattle Sounders players were at least seen on the training ground today. Captain Brad Evans and Leo Gonzalez jogged lightly for a bit before doing some light training work off to the side while the rest of the squad drilled and practiced match scenarios.

Clint Dempsey was also seen jogging around the pitch for much of training, and headed inside before the rest of his teammates. Marco Pappa trained fully today, as did Nelson Haedo Valdez; we can likely expect both to feature in some capacity on Sunday in Dallas. Osvaldo Alonso, who was seen jogging on Tuesday with Gonzalez, was not training outside today and Sounders head coach Sigi Schmid didn't give any update on his progress.

Schmid didn't give any updates on the players, so hopefully we'll have a better idea of who is likely to play by the time the Sounders leave for Dallas on Friday afternoon.

Despite the Sounders' current lead over FC Dallas after Sunday's 2-1 win, Schmid fully expects to come out swinging in the Lone Star State on Sunday: "It's about balance versus wanting to win the game. If you try to win and worst comes to worst you tie the game, it's not such a thing. We're going to play our game, and make sure we take care of the ball on the offensive end of the field."
