Andreas Ivanschitz very well may have saved the Seattle Sounders season. His spectacular goal against FC Dallas turned around the momentum of not just the game, but the entire series. It's also the second big goal he's scored for the Sounders, but the first he's scored at home.
Ivanschitz sat down with SoundersFC.com and spoke about the goal. (There's also the added treat of hearing Ross Fletcher's call.)
Here's probably his best quote: "First of all, it was special to score at home in front of our fans. ... That's goosebumps. If you score goals in front of 40,000, it's always a special moment. ... It was nice to celebrate with our fans."
