U.S. Soccer
Abby Wambach will play her final game for the stars and stripes tonight. Wambach and the rest of the USWNT will take on China in the New Orleans Superdome. Wambach leaves us with many iconic moments for the USWNT. Retiring with two Gold Medals, one World Cup Winners medal Wambach also leaves as the all time leading international goal scorer for men and women.
The USMNT could have a different look in the midfield if Kenny Saief decides to make a one time switch. The current KAA Gent midfielder is thinking about making the switch from Israel to the United States.
Camp Cupcake will start January 4th for the USMNT and conclude with a friendlies against Iceland on January 31st and Canada on Febuary 5th.
Seattle
Andy Rose finished his trial with Coventry City without receiving a contract offer. Rose could continue to search for a job in England or return to Seattle and take the offer from the Sounders.
The Seattle Sounders had a very up and down year in 2015. Major League Soccer takes a look at Seattle's 2015 season and breaks down the good and bad.
World Soccer
Sepp Blatter is going out kicking and screaming claiming and wants everyone to know "the inquisition" against him is unfair and not true. I don't think Sepp won't be receiving the FIFA Fair Play Award this year.
Mario Balotelli is showing great excitement about playing in next years European Championships.
Italian coach check, no name center forward check, first place in the EPL at Christmas time check. Leicester City, Jaime Vardy, and Claudio Ranieri have done the unthinkable.
Twenty years ago Jean-Marc Bosman changed European soccer and his life forever.
Goals of the week: Coast to Coast, Not to Xabi, and a Chip for good measure.
