Major Link Soccer: MLS faces important homegrown precedent

With Wake Forest midfielder Jack Harrison having a strong rookie season, NYCFC's claim on the consensus top-five SuperDraft pick could force the league into a high-profile decision on Homegrown eligibility.

MLS may be forced to set a Homegrown standard precedent by NYCFC's claim on Wake Forest freshman Jack Harrison; the club is citing his three years of play with youth affiliate Manhattan Soccer Club.
